About Minuscule Moments

Everybody has a DREAM. Today is the first day of the rest of my writing life. Its a lonely world out there when you are learning the craft. This year, as the same as last year, I want to finish my first children's picture book. I have learn't many wonderful lessons on this journey. You are never too old to learn.

  1. I loved this story. The title is so reminiscent of the politeness of the London tube (“mind the gap” is seared in my memory), and you’ve captured the familiar feeling of being simultaneously nonchalant and nervous about the many bomb scares in ’90s London. The lighthearted humour and the more serious, haunting edge to the story combine very powerfully.

thanks Vanessa for stopping by, glad you liked it.

  3. Incredible writing. I felt as if I was there. You captured the moment well, along with the human emotion associated with it. I loved “The beer tasted bitter, uncertainty tainted my glass.”. This clearly showed that the shock of the event had not ebbed. Excellent!

  4. Desi Clown says:

Lovely piece! you really painted a picture there with words. I can’t think of any other country’s cops saying “Please….” is the event of a blast. The jokes kept it a little bit light rather than making it feel like you were completely overwhelmed by the situation. I’m no expert on writing, but I liked this one, especially the last part. Makes it seem like it was all a dream
